Renting locker at your service 24/7
Rental machines and tools are needed outside of the regular working hours. Building, constructing and maintenance support providing full service renting partner Cramo Finland Oy launched a pilot for 24/7-serving smart renting and lending locker at Jätkäsaari Helsinki. The locker operates right next to Cramos service point at Jätkäsaari.
Product and service development manager Teemu Marjeta says that the renting and lending lockers selection consists of regularly used tools and machines such as: angle grinders, power drills, industrial vacuum cleaners, pad saws, submersible pumps, small heaters and other construction sites basic tools. These include blades, chisels and dust bags that are also available from the locker. After the use, the tools are returned to the locker or at a Cramo service point.
The smart renting and lending locker was tailored at Punta factory according to a specific plan. The design process took the product selection in consideration and with strong steel structure a hard, durable and stylish locker was produced. Lockers are equipped with Punta smart locking solutions, which allow 24/7, automated and easy use.
The easiest way to identify at construction site is to use Valtti-card and Cramo online-identification. Every employee has a Valtti-card which has a contactless id. Cramos business clients can log in to the locker at any time and rent or buy the products they need. When the customer is logged in they can see all the available tools and supplies. For the actual rent customer chooses the rent time and estimated time of return. The billing is made by rental time or contract.
