Children's Hospital, HUS
The Children’s Hospital is included under the Helsinki and Uudenmaa Health Care District (HUS). It belongs to the hospital area of the Helsinki University Central Hospital (HYKS) and is located in Meilahti, Helsinki. The hospital moved to its current premises in 1946. The Children’s Hospital has been expanded in two stages: In 1986, the outpatient clinic extension and E wing were completed. The new building commissioned in 2010 houses the intensive care unit, the anaesthesia and surgery department, and the MRI unit.
